PROJECT MANAGER

The AECOM Environmental Division in Indonesia is expanding and has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager in Jakarta.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Develop, review and process all proposals in accordance with the AECOM and client requirements prior to submittal.



2. Understand the contractual, technical and regulatory requirements associated with the project(s).



3. Identify and determine availability of personnel and other resources required to execute the project.



4. Assure that the project personnel, including subcontractors, are trained in and adhere to AECOM and client HSE requirements, including timely reporting of near-misses and incidents.



5. Manage all projects under his/her responsibility in accordance with the specific proposal and applicable AECOM and client specifications and project procedures, including:

· Plan and schedule to maximize personnel utilization while maintaining service delivery

· Mobilization only after AECOM and client authorization in writing

· Adherence to the agreed scope, schedule and budget

· Use change management and program control systems to update scope, schedule and cost

· Assure the labor, expenses and ODCs charged to the project are accurate, appropriate, timely and allocated correctly

· Assure that the invoicing and payment process is accurate and timely

· Understand the project details and take action as needed in order to correct problems.





6. Report status of projects to the appropriate supervisor and corporate management for “roll-up” of the overall program, account or office status.



7. In coordination with his/her supervisor (in the PM role) and corporate management, develop, maintain and implement employee development and succession plans to promote employee engagement and advancement within the Program.



8. Advise his/her supervisor immediately of any potential gap in resources required to execute projects on schedule with appropriate technical quality.



9. As appropriate, delegate to administrative, field and project coordination staff to achieve the project objectives.



10. Manage all subcontractors and assure their adherence to the applicable commercial, technical and HSE requirements of the project.



11. Develop further business with the client as is appropriate to the current or future projects.



12. Be responsible for managing the interface on the project with other elements of the AECOM organization (beyond AECOM Environment).



13. Responsible for several single-discipline projects or a more complex and larger multi-discipline project.



14. Required to work in more than one venue and is expected to actively oversee the management of site activities, often resulting in multiple site visits per month.

Education/Experience

· BS degree in geology, engineering or related science and 6+ years of role-related experience, or

· MS degree in geology, engineering or related science. and 4+ years of role-related experience

· Progressive experience managing staff and contractors

· Experience in multi-cultural environments

· Scientific and/or engineering aptitude

· Strong writing and verbal communication skills in English

· Multi-lingual is a plus
